This paper studies the Constituent Assemblies in Antioquia, and defends the idea that the Constituent Assemblies in Antioquia can be considered a social movement that claims and promotes democratization processes in the region. In accordance with the above, our conception of democracy retakes its substantial definition, which defines it as "a way of organizing society".
