Historically, the Urabá region has been recognized as one of the subregions with the highest agricultural production, but also as a territory where several human rights violations have taken place in the context of an ongoing armed conflict.
To defend the territory, more than 60 people met on June 21 and 22, representing about 32 organizations from the entire subregion of Urabá, with the objective of strengthening, expanding and installing the Sembrando Paz Network as an intercultural space to discuss the various problems of the subregion and begin actions to transform and mitigate the damage caused by development models that are not in line with our life plans for the transformation and survival of the subregion.
