In this issue, five papers are presented that show the tensions, conflicts and challenges that exist between the hope installed with the peace process and the difficulties that lie ahead; when the armed actors go beyond the guerrillas, installing a non-civilian citizen political culture and an alliance between mining companies and the State, which created new scenarios for the expulsion of entire populations and a territorial organization for the accumulation of wealth in a few companies.
