The subjects covered in this module - instruments, bodies and mechanisms for the protection of Human Rights, International Humanitarian Law and International Criminal Law - are difficult to approach for people unaccustomed to legal technicalities. Without ignoring the ever-increasing complexity of the law, this module is based on the principle that the law is not conceived and cannot remain detached from the people it is intended to protect.
