Resolving the mistrust cultivated and nurtured for more than fifty years since an armed confrontation that has left thousands of victims and whose causes have deepened rather than been resolved, is perhaps one of the greatest challenges of the negotiation process underway in Havana between the Colombian government and the FARC insurgent organization.
