The publication presents a series of articles produced by social organizations and institutions working for the defense, promotion and protection of human rights in the department of Antioquia and in Colombia. In spite of the diverse nature, nuances, and areas of depth of each of the articles, a rich panorama of the difficult human rights situation during 2008 in Medellín and Antioquia, including Colombia, is constructed.
